CATO Industries hired me create a brand for their new product line- Agency. The brand was to feel aspirational, simple yet refined, and timeless.

About Agency: “We want to live life with passion, curiosity and engagement, and we think the best way to make this happen is by custom designing life to fit your unique wants and needs as an individual. We want to share the world with other interesting, passionate and present people, so we want to help other people reject a cookie-cutter mold of how life should be and make their own path forward. Our way to make this change possible is by providing goods that make – and keep – a self-directed life successful.”

The icon I created is meant to look like a fingerprint, and is a symbol of making your own unique mark in life. The imprint of flowing paths come together to form the shape of an “A” in the centre. When you follow your own path, it can creating a ripple effect of positivity. There is a sense of organic balance in the pairing and an approachability in the rounded shapes of the icon and font.
