ShopLaw

ShopLaw is an online marketplace where lawyers can list their prices for common fixed-cost services like selling or purchasing a home, filing a will, etc. Website visitors can search the site based on their city and review pricing and lawyer profiles before booking an appointment online.  Lawyers use ShopLaw to advertise their services and generate appointments through the site.

I created a new identity and brand framework including a colour palette and select fonts. Designed to feel reliable, friendly, helpful and approachable. The logo was created to model the scales of justice, but the arms can also be seen as a happy smile, and the scales can be seen as shopping bags. Using the scales is relevant icon for users who are comparing/weighing different lawyers. I was also asked to create four sub-brand logos for ShopLaw’s different ways to find a lawyer (Browse, PriceLock, RightBid and TrustedAnswers). The new brand was then rolled out to their website design.
